Today the 11th of May 2024, was a successful day for ALC-NCD Province! The leaders spent their first-ever workshop on Strategic Planning from 9 am to 3 pm, making the most of every moment. The speakers cover three key areas: planning, carrying out the plan, and evaluating & keeping an eye on progress.
An important point discussed was that the objectives at each level of the organization should match up with the overall goals set by ALC-PNG. To successfully carry out these objectives, it’s crucial to first conduct a thorough analysis of the environment by looking at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. It was explained that this type of scoping process can help set clear objectives that will ultimately lead to effective action plans, effective use of resources and successful outcomes.
Exciting indeed! Workshop practical sessions have been rescheduled to June 2024. It promises to be an interesting day too. Praise be to God! Amen.
